NEW DELHI, Feb 1 (Reuters) - Reliance Communications (RLCM.BO: Quote, Profile, Research), India's No. 2 mobile operator, expects capital expenditure of 30 billion rupees ($648 million) for the financial year to March 2011, a third lower than its spending this year, a top official said on Monday.
The planned amount for fiscal year 2011 excludes possible investments in India's upcoming 3G and broadband wireless access spectrum auctions, Group Managing Director Satish Seth told analysts on a conference call.
He said capital expenditure for the current fiscal year ending in March was expected to be about 45 billion rupees. ($1=46.3 rupees) (Reporting by Devidutta Tripathy; Editing by Malini Menon)
