MUMBAI (Reuters) - The BSE Sensex extended gains to 1 percent on late Tuesday afternoon, with Infosys Technologies and ICICI Bank leading the charge, lifted by positive world equities.
At 3:19 a.m. (0949 GMT), the 30-share BSE index was up 1.12 percent at 16,217.20 points, with 27 components advancing.
The 50-share NSE index was up 1.2 percent at 4,857,70.
